About the book
I Am That is a dialogue-based spiritual classic centered on consciousness, identity, and freedom from false self-identification.
Its format of direct questions and uncompromising answers makes it a powerful reference for Advaita-oriented reading and inquiry.
My review
This book challenged many of my default assumptions. At times the language feels sharp, but that sharpness is exactly what makes the teaching transformative.
I appreciate that it does not encourage intellectual comfort. Instead, it repeatedly returns attention to immediate awareness and lived inquiry.
For me, this is not a one-pass book. I keep it as a lifelong companion text and return to specific conversations based on current inner questions.
